Shanghai (Gasgoo)-Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Auto) announced on Tuesday the new vehicle sales of the Group (collectively referring to Geely Auto and its subsidiaries) reached 630,237 units in the first half of 2021, growing 19% from the previous year and fulfilling 41% of the Group's annual sales target of 1.53 million units.

In June, the Group sold 100,163 new cars, suffering a 9% drop year-on-year, while achieving a 4% growth month-on-month. Of those, 7,515 units were new energy and electrified vehicles (NEEVs), including the Geometry As, the Geometry Cs, the Emgrand EVs, and the Emgrand GSes. The year-to-date NEEV sales climbed 3% to 30,071 units.
According to Geely's latest monthly sales results, the Group sold 93,120 vehicles across China last month, representing a 12% year-on-year decline. However, the export volume vigorously rose 71% from a year earlier to 7,043 units.
The Group's sedan and SUV sales amounted to 30,907 units and 67,960 units respectively in June.

According to Geely, it received over 10,000 orders of the Xingyue L within 48 hours after the presale kicked off. The CMA-based SUV will hit the market on July 20. Besides, the cumulative sales of the Geely Preface sedan have exceeded 80,000 units as of June 2021 with its monthly sales topping 10,000 units on average.
The CMA-based SUV Xingyue S, whose all variants come standard with 2.0TD engine, will go on sale on July 10.

In June, the sales of Lynk & Co-branded vehicles stood at 17,077 units, leaping 29% from the year-ago period. During the same period, there were 650 vehicles under Lynk & Co brand were exported to European market, resulting in 3,646 units in Jan.-Jun. export volume.
